This guidance document sets out the disclosure requirements in detail, and provides further advice on interpreting and responding to each matter for which a disclosure is required.
Our te reo name
The Ministry for Regulation worked with Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori – The Māori Language Commission to develop a te reo Māori name to sit alongside our English name. The name suggested by Te Taura Whiri is Te Manatū Waeture.

This framework provides managers and staff with a basis for learning and development conversations, progression and decision-making. The capabilities outlined in this document reflect the integration of knowledge, attributes, and experience that when used appropriately will drive effective performance. When working through this guide please note the term ‘regulator’ applies to all RS roles, not just the regulator role in RS.
