The engagement hub will be central to all future regulatory reviews the Ministry for Regulation does.
It's our platform for feedback, and where we’ll publish our reports and findings on final review recommendations, and any other relevant review related information.
Right now, we’re seeking feedback and submissions on the ECE regulatory review. You can take part by completing an online questionnaire, uploading a written submission – or both.
We are actively engaging with organisations representing parents and families, teachers, workers and providers as well as other agencies on the ECE regulatory review and have been very pleased by the strong level of interest.
We are already hearing a lot from our engagement, including thoughts on teacher ratios, consistency of advice from government agencies, the nonprofit vs profit ECE sectors and parent access to information to make good choices about ECE.
We expect to hear a lot more as our engagement continues, and we receive submissions over the next six to eight weeks.
