Submissions on proposed contents of the Regulatory Standards Bill now closed

Thank you to everyone who submitted their feedback on the proposed contents of the Regulatory Standards Bill. We received approximately 23,000 submissions.

The feedback received will inform the development of a draft Bill the Government intends to introduce to Parliament later in 2025.  

There will be a further opportunity to provide feedback on the Bill as it progresses through select committee.

We understand some people who emailed their submission during the evening of 13 January may not have received an autoreply. We want to assure people that all emails have been received, and we are currently responding to submitters to confirm receipt. 

While late submissions will be noted, we may not be the able to reflect the views presented in late submissions in our analysis and decisions.
